Chapter 1179 announced its First Term Airman of the Year for 2004, in the General Membership meeting held Jan 23, in the Community Activities Center on Buckley AFB.  MSgt Kevin Hale, the Chapter 1179 President, announced A1C Jessica Mueller, a 460th Medical Squadron bioenvironmental engineer, as the winner. 

     On hand to present the award, was the 460th Space Wing Command Chief, CMSgt Rene Simard.  Airman Mueller will now compete with other first term airmen of Division 11, which includes the air force bases of Peterson, Schriever, Hill, Malmstrom, F.E. Warren, Mounntain Home, and the U.S. Air Force Academy.  The Division 11 board will meet during the Division 11/12 Covention, taking place April 21-23, in Denver, CO.  The Division winners will then compete in the International Convention taking place the end of July in Dallas, TX.
